School meals

 

Pupils will get one free school meal every school day.

As a part of the National Core Curriculum is a plan of pupil’s welfare. The plan provides the key principles for school meals and sets out the objectives for health and nutritional education and for teaching good manners. The role of school meals is to be a pedagogical tool to teach good nutrition and eating habits as well as to increase consumption of vegetables, fruits and berries, full corn bread and skimmed or low fat milk. School meal is a part of pupil’s welfare together with other meals at home.

If a pupil has specialized nutrition because of allergy, religious reasons or ethical reasons, parent/guardian needs to contact to the school.
