Puijo’s skiing season will open on the first snow ski track on Friday, November 12, 2021. The length of the track is 1.7 km. It is possible to ski 24 hours a day, but the track is illuminated from 7 am to 9 pm. You can ski both on the classic or free ski track. Puijo's first snow track is subject to a fee until the snow situation allows cross-country skiing all around the track network.

A new biking season is about to start. Popular Vilkku city bikes will be available on Monday April 26th. There will be 250 bikes available for the third season, and 35 city bike stations around the city. Vilkku city bike passes can be purchased at 8 a.m.

The city of Kuopio has decided to make Vilkku city bikes available from 15.4.2020. As spring is already knocking at our doors we are preparing for a new biking season and the first bikes have already been brought to the city bike stations. However, the bikes are available for use from 15.4. onwards. The city also wishes that the city bikes will be useful as public transportation has been reduced.
