Hospice Care

Lehtolakoti is a ward for hospice care. It is one of the Kuopio municipal Harjula hospital wards comprising 15 beds, each in a single room. Our ward works in cooperation with other health care professionals caring for the patients.

The aim of our care is to provide good symptomatic care and to support the patients’ remaining resources as well as the patients and their family members.

Patients come to Lehtolakoti with a doctor´s referral.

Lehtolakoti provides support for hospice care patients at home together with other home care services.
