Printed guide maps are available of the built-up areas of Kuopio and the areas of dispersed settlement.

Kuopio Area City Guide
An A2-size guide map of Kuopio’s central and surrounding area. The map is free.
It is available from the Customer Service at the Council Office Building (Suokatu 42).

Kuopio Area Guide Map Set 
Price 25 euros.
The set contains:

  • 1:15,000 scale maps of the following built-up areas: Karttula, Syvänniemi, Pihkainmäki, Kurkimäki, Kuopio city centre, Melalahti, Vehmersalmi, Maaninka and Nilsiä-Tahko.
  • 1:80,000 scale double-sided map of the areas of dispersed settlement (excluding Juankoski) in Kuopio.
  • List of road names and addresses
