Playing area for Finnish baseball

Finnish baseball is often referred to as a national game of Finland. It is a popular sport that is played a lot at an amateur level and in schools.

In Kuopio, baseball games are played in summertime on the arena, which is located in the Puijo sports and recreation centre. The distance to Kuopio city centre is only 1.5 kilometres.
The arena has roof-covered seating for 1,400 spectators. There is also a parking area near the playground.
