Kuopio Adult Education Center’s 2026 Spring Exhibitions open

Kuopio Adult Education Center’s spring exhibitions will open to the public in April. As usual, the exhibitions are spread across Kuopio service area and brings together a diverse selection of works created in the centers` courses.

The spring exhibitions feature works by students of crafts and visual arts from both children’s and adult groups. The crafts on display include clothing, traditional costumes, knitwear, patchwork, restored furniture, wood and metalwork, and knives. The visual arts section features works created using various techniques, including paintings, printmaking, drawings, and glass and ceramic works.

The largest exhibition will be held at Puistokartano in Kuopio (Puistokatu 20) on April 17–19: Fri 2–6 p.m., Sat–Sun 11 a.m.–4 p.m. In addition to the exhibition, a sale of works created by Adult Education Center instructors will be held in the Metsäluokka room on the 2nd floor, as well as at Cafe Mandariini on the 1st floor.
