International House Kuopio – Monthly Sessions 27.5.2026

International House Kuopio organizes the next Monthly Sessions event on Wednesday 27.5.2026 from 13–15.

The event is free of charge and open to all international clients and students. Included in cooperation is the Competence-Based Recruitment project.

This time’s topic:

The importance of the Finnish language in working life
We discuss the importance of language skills in working life as well as a multilingual work community.
Come to listen to interesting speeches and to discuss with us in plain Finnish language!

Speakers:

• Teija Vuontisjärvi, Servica Oy

• Rohan Mabotuwana, apprenticeship student (Sakky) and trainee, Servica Oy

The speeches are held in Finnish, but the discussion is aimed to be kept in plain language — English functions as a support language. You can, if you wish, use your own translator.
