Tahko observation tower

Tahko observation tower is located at the top of Tahkonrintie, next to the slope restaurant Pehku. The tower is about 13 meters high and was opened in October 2019.  The observation tower is open all year round. The tower offers magnificent views, especially towards the east, over Tahkolahti and the ski slopes.

The address of Tahko observation tower is Pehkuntie 457, 73310 Tahkovuori. The tower can be reached either via Tahko’s hiking and hiking trails or by car.

The construction of the observation tower has been made possible by the Tahko Village Association, the slope company Huippupaikat Oy, many other entrepreneurs in Tahko and the City of Kuopio.
