Alava House for booking
Alava House is a community centre for everyone, where you can enjoy hobbies and organise a wide range of events, gatherings, exhibitions – or whatever you happen to come up with! Regular bookings for Alava House’s facilities will be applied during every spring. For occasional or one-off activities, you can rent spaces all year round.
Alava House is located near Kuopio city centre in the Niirala district, right by Valkeisenlampi. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the Market Square, and the house is easily accessible by public transport.

Meeting hall and Café
Meeting hall
The meeting hall can accommodate over 100 people. It is equipped with a piano, sound system, projection screen, and video projector, as well as easily movable chairs and tables. The café and meeting room can be conveniently combined if desired. Total size is 186.9 m². There is a partition wall between the café and the meeting hall.

- Seating for approx. 130 people. Chairs are movable.
- Conference table at the back for approx. 15 people.

- Wireless system (bring your own laptop).
- Data projector with VGA connection. WLAN available.
- Speaker/microphone system.
- Instructions can be found on top of the system.

Café
- Facilities include a water point, 2 coffee makers, and a kettle.
- You must bring your own dishes and tablecloths.
- There is no fridge or dishwasher in the space.
- Area: 114.8 m².
- The café has 46 chairs around tables.
Meeting room (2nd. floor)
The meeting room is located on the second floor and can be accessed via stairs or lift. The space is suitable for around 10–12 people. It is furnished with chairs and tables, which can be moved as needed. Available facilities include a display screen and a water point.
Sports hall (2nd. floor)
Suitable for activities such as exercise classes, dance, and martial arts.
