Nature excursions

Sports coordinators of Kuopio hosts nature excursions, that are open to everybody, in summer 2025.

Day trip to Hietasalo

Program of the day:
12.30 Meeting at Kuopio passenger port, behind of the restaurant “Wanha satama”
13.15 Arrival to Hietasalo.
14.45 Boat trip to passenger port starts.

At Luhastensalo you will get to know the nature of the island or you can just enjoy the nature. You can
take some snack with you, and there is also change to grill sausages, if there is no forest fire warning.
There is campfire coffee available!

The trip will cost 10 euros/person, a bill will be sent to your home for payment.
Binding registrations must be made by May 13, 2025.

Maximum of 50 people. Spots will be filled in the order of registration. Price will include transportation
and refreshments according to the program.
Remember to dress according to the weather.
