International stars Linda Lampenius and Perttu Kivilaakso at Kuopio Music Centre 17.12.

Linda Lampenius, one of Finland’s most internationally renowned violinists, and cellist Perttu Kivilaakso, who has toured the world with Apocalyptica, will perform their Christmas concert Magic Melodies of Christmas at Kuopio Music Centre on Sunday 17 December at 17:00. The concert will feature Christmas tunes from classical, pop and rock music. Different tones of violin and cello and worlds of electronic effects will be on display.

Stars have chosen their favourite songs for the Christmas concert. Melodies from the worlds of opera, classical and pop music will be heard, as well as Kivilaakso’s own works, compositions by Apocalyptica and rock ballads. There will also be new arrangements of Finnish Christmas and folk songs by Kivilaakso.

Duration of the concert is approx. 1 h 50 min., including intermission. Tickets: €31,90.
