Kuopio celebrates its 250th anniversary with top Kuopio-based soloists and the Kuopio City Orchestra – together with the people of Kuopio!

Kuopio residents will be treated to a free Made in Kuopio250 celebration concert on 23 August 2025 at 18:00 in the Ice Hall. The concert programme pays tribute to the city’s history in many ways. It is a tribute to Kuopio’s know-how and to the spirit of togetherness!

The concert’s diverse artist line-up brings together different musical styles and crosses genre boundaries, as top names from Finnish pop and rock, tango and heavy to opera sing in a declaration of love for the city and the people of Kuopio.
