Tahko routes campfire site
Unofficial fire place along the Tahko hiking trail. There is no firewood supply at the fire site. For a campfire, hikers must bring their own firewood. N.B! Do not damage the trees around the fire pit to make a campfire. The development project of the Tahko hiking trail will study the possibilities of using the fire pit in question while improving the structures of the trail in the Huutavanholma nature reserve in 2021. A new lean-to (Pöllölaavu lean-to) was completed along the Tahko hiking trail in 2020 north of the slopes of Tahko near the Mäkiautio gorge, where making fires is allowed.
