Tulisaari camping harbour
The place is located on a peninsula in the northeastern part of the Tulisaari island in Pieni-Virmasvesi, about 600 m from the passage leading to the village of Karttula. Coniferous forests grow in the area. The beaches are shallow and partly rocky. The place is protected from most winds. There is no road connection to the island and there are no services nearby. The place is suitable for temporary stay and landing. Strong northeast winds may hinder landfall. A new lean-to has been built on the island to replace the one that burned down in 2006.
