Vatanen lean-to
Vatanen is located along a 2.7 m fairway, about 3 km north of Puutossalmi. The fairway on the west side is about 200 meters away. On the western shore of the island there is a new lean-to with fireplaces, a firewood shed and a toilet. There is a firewood supply at the site. There is a pier with stern buoys (3 pcs) The beach is reasonably deep, so it can be reached even by a large boat, but quite unprotected, especially in southwesterly and northerly winds. Further north in Vatanen there is also an old fishing hut with fireplaces, and in the strait between the small rocky island north of Vatanen there is a stern buoy where you can seek refuge in case of wind. There are no structures on the small island. The island is located 2.7 m along the shipping lane.
