Parking control
Parking inspectors monitor compliance with provisions and regulations concerning parking. They can issue a parking fine decision for incorrect parking.
The parking fine is EUR 60 in the city centre area (city areas 1–6) and EUR 50 in other areas. The amendment is based on the Decree of the Ministry of the Interior (225/2016).
If the parking fine is not paid within the prescribed 30-day period, an increased fine of EUR 14 must be paid in addition to the fine.
Customers dissatisfied with the parking fine decision can refer the matter to the parking supervisor.
When the vehicle is subject to five unpaid fines that cannot be appealed, a tyre lock is used in accordance with the Parking Act (727/2011). The tyre lock will be removed by the city during office hours and only after the EUR 250 tyre lock usage fee and the unpaid fines have been paid.
