City of Kuopio - Frontpage

Kuopio is a part of the national campaign of a public service media company YLE - Million garbage bags. The goal of the campaign is to encourage people to collect a million bags of garbage from the environment and to reduce indifference of littering.

There are a lot of things to do during the vacation week for children of different ages and whole families. After the outdoor activities it is nice to take part in the indoor games and events. There are a lot of free programs coming.

City of Kuopio offers a plot of land as a gift to the star skier Iivo Niskanen in Saaristokaupunki, Lehtoniemi. Behind it the wish of Niskanen family to build a house in Kuopio.
