How do I work out at the gym?

Are you interested in gym workout, but don’t know how to get started? Click on the link below to watch the instruction videos for using gym equipment! The equipment on the videos are numbered the same way in the Kuopio sports hall and the Kuntolaakso swimming pool gyms.

Gym workout is suitable for almost everyone, and it is good for both physical fitness and mental health. Please note, however, that you must be at least 15 years of age to use the city gyms. People younger than 15 must practise in the presence of a parent or trainer. For safety reasons, children under the age of 13 may not be brought to the gym.
