Mäkiautio gorge
The beautiful Mäkiautio rock gorge is located on top of Tahko as part of the Tahko hiking trails. The gorge is a 150-metre-long crack in the rock, which can be admired up close along wooden structures built by the Tahko village association.
The gorge has access to the Mäkiautio “pöllölaavu” lean-to, which offers spectacular views towards Syväri. The development of Tahko’s hiking trails is still ongoing.
