Notification of an exceptional situation pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act
The environmental protection authority must be notified of an exceptional situation causing a risk of environmental pollution caused by an accident, production failure, dismantling of a device or structure, or any other comparable reason.
As a result of the notification, the environmental protection authority may issue the necessary regulations to prevent environmental pollution or to repair the damage caused. If the exceptional situation is a licensed activity, the competent authority issues the necessary regulations.
