Kuopio by Nature is a magazine published annually by the City. It presents Kuopio through three themes – while simultaneously revealing the dual meaning inherent in the publication’s name and the Kuopio brand. The magazine is published both in English and in Finnish.

Kuopio by Nature simultaneously conveys both the beautiful lake Finnish nature surrounding Kuopio and its natural way of life, as well as the city’s character and its inhabitants. The annual publication is built not only around these themes but also around three components: hard business facts that showcase the city’s development, soft atmospheric factors and family values, and the ease of leisure time. The foundations of a good life.

The goal of the Kuopio by Nature annual publication is to enhance Kuopio’s recognition, appeal, and attractiveness both domestically and internationally.
