Building streets and municipal infrastructure
The urban engineering development services are responsible for the construction of streets, transport routes, market squares, harbours, green and recreational areas and related official duties. They are also responsible for the redirection of surplus land from plots owned by the city to landfills and the organisation of the reuse of surplus land.
