Sports passes for people with disabilities or long-term illnesses
Sports passes for people with disabilities or long-term illnesses are available for purchase by the recipients of Kela’s care allowance for pensioners or disability allowance.
The pass costs EUR 83, and it is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Passes are sold at sports hall sales points. The pass gives access to the Kuntolaakso and Lippumäki swimming pools and gyms and the Kuopio Hall gym and running tracks. The passes can be redeemed from the cash counters of both swimming pools and Kuopio Hall by presenting the Kela decision.
Free use of swimming services, sports halls and gyms
By decision of the City Board, the following groups are entitled to the free use of the indoor swimming pools, all sports hall gyms, and the Kuopio Hall running track area:
- veterans with front-line badges
- By decision of the Social Insurance Institution Kela
- recipients of disability allowance at the middle rate and their accompanying person
- recipients of disability allowance at the highest rate and their accompanying person
- recipients of care allowance for pensioners at the middle rate and their accompanying person
- recipients of care allowance for pensioners at the highest rate and their accompanying person
- recipients of disability allowance for children at the middle rate and their accompanying person
- recipients of disability allowance for children at the highest rate and their accompanying person
