Influence and cooperation institutions

Different municipal groups have influence and cooperation bodies in the municipalities, whose task is to improve the voice of these groups in municipal decision-making. The groups supplement the number of municipal boards.

Kuopio has a youth council, a council for the elderly and a council for the disabled, whose composition, appointment and operating conditions are decided by the city government.

The cooperation bodies are the children’s parliament and the Roma working group.
